Fabric and Color:
Please keep in mind that fabric colors can appear differently on computer screens than in reality. If you are looking to match this item to something specific, we highly recommend ordering a fabric swatch from us so you know what to expect. Occasionally our fabrics can have slight changes in them from the manufacturer, and this may result in slightly different fabric than what we used when taking our sample photos. We strive to represent our fabrics as accurately as possible in our photos, but this is another reason you may want to order a swatch if you are concerned.
Pattern Placement:
In the case of items that have a pattern or print on them (i.e. not a solid color), the pattern placement may be different than what is shown in the photos. These are hand cut and each item we make is made to order. At this time we are not able to accommodate special requests for pattern placement.

If you are ordering a custom fabric, unless otherwise stated, we are choosing this fabric based off of a photo online. We can not guarantee the color, transparency, or quality of the fabric any more than you can based off of the photo. Sometimes colors appear differently in photos than in person. If you have any concerns about your fabric being an exact match to the photo, we HIGHLY recommend ordering a swatch of the fabric so you can see it for yourself and confirm. If you decide to forgo receiving a swatch, we are ordering the fabric at your own risk. Refunds will not be given for custom orders.
All design and construction details that have not been discussed between us will be left up to our discretion. We want you to be completely happy with your order, so if there is a detail you are envisioning, please be sure to let us know! Otherwise we will construct the item according to our judgement. Please be aware that if you request additional features or details after the initial payment has been made, there may be additional costs for those details.
I purchased a custom blouse and custom corset and they we both gorgeous! The fabric and colors were exactly what I wanted and they were both extremely high quality. That in itself was worth every cent but it's also important to note that the customer service was OUTSTANDING. I emailed back and forth for days trying to make the best choice for my purchase. The response time was very fast and informative. I will buy from French Meadows again and again!
I’ve been looking for a corset that fits my super short torso for a while now, and finally decided to invest in a custom one and while expensive, I couldn’t be happier. You definitely get the quality you pay for. Customer service was incredibly kind and helpful while I bumbled through submitting measurements twice, trying to figure out what material/color I wanted, etc. I paid for 6 week expediting and it arrived early (!) and is absolutely perfect. Fits really comfortably and is easy to move in, but still holds me and several skirts secure even with a lot of walking and sitting/standing back up. I’m recommending French Meadows to basically everyone I meet at the renfaire this year. 😂
